Our Challenge:

As an Sr SQL Server Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.


The Role

Responsibilities:

  1. Database Design: Designing and implementing database structures, including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
  2. Query Optimization: Writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to optimize database performance.
  3. Database Development: Developing and maintaining database applications, including data migration, transformation, and integration processes.
  4. Performance Tuning: Monitoring and tuning database performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  5. Security and Compliance: Implementing and maintaining database security measures and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  6. Collaboration: Working closely with software developers, system analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and implement database requirements.
  7. Documentation: Creating and maintaining database documentation, including data models, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.


Requirements:

You are:

  1. Extensive SQL Server Experience: Strong proficiency in SQL Server development, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
  2. Database Design Skills: Proven experience in designing scalable and efficient database schemas and data models.
  3. Performance Tuning: Expertise in query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning techniques.
  4. ETL and Data Integration: Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues and performance problems.
  6. Team Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics can be beneficial.


It would be great if you also had:
