Jewelry Production & Logistics Internship - Fall 2024

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Brooklyn store/studio as an Production and Logistics Intern. This hands-on internship will immerse you in the world of fine jewelry, offering you the chance to learn the intricacies of jewelry production, and the inner workings of a luxury brand.


With the potential for a more permanent position after the fall semester, this role is perfect for someone passionate about the jewelry industry and eager to grow with a rapidly expanding brand.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Jewelry Production Coordination: Collaborate closely with our production facilities and creative director to ensure the timely production and delivery of jewelry pieces. Monitor the production process and address any issues that arise to maintain high-quality standards.
  2. Order Fulfillment Logistics: Oversee the logistics of order management, including tracking inventory, and ensuring that all orders are processed and delivered efficiently.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, assist in stock level monitoring, and suggest replenishments to avoid delays in production and order fulfillment.
  4. Production Scheduling: Assist in planning and scheduling production runs, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure all deadlines are met.
  5. Operational Support: Provide support in optimizing our operational processes, from refining production workflows to improving order tracking systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Luxury, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing) is preferred.
  • Keen Interest in Jewelry and Luxury Goods: A strong passion for the jewelry industry and a desire to deepen your knowledge in this field.
  • Initiative: A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take on responsibilities and drive projects forward.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to a dynamic and innovative company culture.

This internship is for the Fall 2024 semester, with a commitment of 15-20 hours per week. It is for credit only, but it comes with the invaluable experience of working in one of the most renowned areas of New York's fashion and jewelry scene.
