Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee consulting projects in structural inspections, reserve studies, water intrusion investigations, property turnover surveys, concrete restoration, painting and waterproofing, asset life cycle analysis (ROI), property conditions surveys, asphalt pavement evaluations, drainage, erosion, and settlement studies.
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation on roof consulting & design, expert witness services, seawalls & retaining walls, building sciences, project management, building envelope analysis, and (O.A.R.) services.
  • Conduct geotechnical and environmental studies to ensure compliance and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and meet project objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to maintain transparency and alignment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 4-6 years of relevant experience and a registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proven expertise in at least three areas: building sciences, roof consulting, forensic engineering, concrete restoration, commercial waterproofing, capital reserve studies, building facades, and fenestration.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to perform on-site inspections, including climbing roofs, crawling in tight spaces, and conducting field investigations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset to identify and resolve complex challenges.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
