Summary: The Supply Chain Planner coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. Responsibilities include reviewing and distributing production schedules, approving documents, and managing inventory levels.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve documents, materials, and products to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Assess production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine requirements and priorities.
  • Confer with department supervisors and other personnel to discuss progress and changes.
  • Revise production schedules as needed due to design changes, labor shortages, or other issues.
  • Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
  • Coordinate with personnel, vendors, and customers to manage production and shipping activities, resolve complaints, and eliminate delays.
