POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a member of the Eurofase leadership team and is responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the company’s strategic business plan. This role serves as the Sales leader for the defined area; however, the prevailing responsibility is to be a businessperson “first” for what is best for the company as a whole and for our customers and employees who are dependent on the company's success.


This position will model a company’s culture so that employees will witness examples of encouragement, treating all individuals with respect regardless of position, and work collaboratively to deliver the company objectives.


A specific responsibility that will be measured is growing our market share and profitability in North America through the lighting showroom and the electrical distribution channels. The position is accountable for developing and performing the Sales goals delivered by independent rep agencies. It is expected that this position will represent the Eurofase Company professionally and ethically in all business dealings and interactions with all parties.


This position oversees 25+ independent sales agencies.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a territory plan for each agency to grow the territory over its best year.
  • Annual evaluation of each agency with a plan for improvement.
  • Recognize & acknowledge good sales performances
  • Create long-term customer relationships that is built on trust & business judgment.
  • Customer and rep decisions are based on sound financial logic.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the sales reps where needed
  • Available to your team and being responsive to their needs
  • Collaborate with other functional areas in the company to implement processes for improvement and contribute to solutions to problems or opportunities.
  • This position serves as the “voice of the customer” to Eurofase



KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful in past business endeavors
  • Minimum of 5 successful years in a sales management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Time management & organizational skills
  • Clear verbal & written skills
  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Product & Channel knowledge
  • 50% travel in Canada & US : territory visits, trade shows & conferences
