Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Patient Intake/Scheduler at PARC Home Care and Hospice located in West Bloomfield Township, MI. As a Patient Intake/Scheduler, you will play a vital role in our organization by handling the coordination of patient appointments, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping, and facilitating effective communication between patients, families, and medical staff.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
  • Proficiency in standard computer software and electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus
