Job Description


The Enhancement Design/Estimator position is responsible for enhancement design, estimating, and production coordination for the Commercial Grounds Management Department. This position is also responsible for various administrative and management functions and other duties as directed by the Operations Manager.


Responsibilities - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Design/Estimating


·        Work with operations and account managers to generate enhancement sales for Bland Landscaping.

·        Maintain and update a lead schedule on public folders

·        Work with floriculture to promote flower sales

·        Propose, develop, estimate, and design enhancements for Bland


Landscaping customers


·        Track sales through tracking software

·        Manage transition from lead to proposal and signed proposal to production


Administration


·        Follow work order and purchase order procedures

·        Create crew files for production

·        Administer sub-contract agreements for all sub-work

·        Track job performance


Required Experience


·        Must have a minimum of three years of landscape design experience.

·        Must have a two or four-year degree in a related field.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial landscape design & estimating.

·        Strong understanding of landscape design principles, installation techniques, & estimating procedures.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

·        Present yourself in a professional, neat, and polite manner

·        Must have a valid NC Driver’s license and have/maintain a good driving record.

·        Adhere to Bland landscaping policy and procedures

·        Must be able to pass a criminal background check

·        Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

·        Must be able to work independently

·        Must have computer skills and be able to design, estimate, and propose enhancements using computer software.
