Job Description:

As a Marketing Assistant at Simmons Media, you will be in a pivotal support role, working closely with the owner to ensure the seamless execution of marketing tasks for our company and clients. Your tasks will encompass a range of responsibilities, including Google Spreadsheets management, social media posting/scheduling, copywriting, Notion scheduling, email scheduling, file organization, and prospecting/appointment setting.


2 (8 hour) days per week to begin, with the goal of an increased role over the next few months.


$14-$20/hour based off of experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Copywriting: Write copy for our clients/our own social media content, along with email campaigns. 


Google Spreadsheets: Maintain and organize data in Google Spreadsheets for tracking and reporting purposes


Social Media: Collaborate with the team to create, schedule, and post engaging content on various social media platforms, ensuring consistent branding and effective audience engagement.


HubSpot Management: Assist in managing HubSpot, including blogs, and content scheduling.


Notion Control and Management: Maintain and update Notion for scheduling, project tracking, and collaborative team efforts.


Email Scheduling: Assist in scheduling and deploying email campaigns via MailChimp/ActiveCampaign to ensure proper segmentation and audience targeting.


File Organization: Maintain order and organization of digital assets and files on the company's hard drives for easy accessibility


Prospecting: Use DM's and email to prospect/set appointments for new leads.



Qualifications:

High school diploma

Ability to work in person in West Chester, PA

Bachelor’s degree or working toward a degree in marketing, communications, or related field is Preferred.

Skills with Notion.

Strong organization and detail skills with proficiency in Google Spreadsheets.

Knowledge of social media management and content scheduling.

Basic knowledge of health/fitness due to our clientele being in this space.

Familiarity with HubSpot, MailChimp, and TikTok is a plus.

Creative mindset and an eye for design.
