Snapshot of this role:

As a Lead Production Technician, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our production team, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of production goals. Your responsibilities will include supervising team members, maintaining safety and quality standards, and collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Production Management: Collaborate with the Production Manager to coordinate personnel and direct daily tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Assembly & Testing: Participate in the mechanical and electrical assembly and testing of production products, including filtration and consumption monitoring systems.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain machinery and tools, reporting any issues to the manager.


Training & Development

  • Employee Training: Train new employees on production processes and equipment, ensuring safety procedures are effectively implemented.
  • Process Development: Work with the Production Manager to develop requirements and procedures for new products and modifications.


Quality Assurance

  • Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures and perform checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work with Production and Engineering departments to maintain quality objectives and corrective actions.


Daily Tasks

  • Oversee the daily production schedule and ensure timely task completion.
  • Monitor and adjust workflows to address issues or bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, quality control, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.
  • Identify and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Propose and implement process improvements.


Key Competencies

  • Servant Leadership: Develop and build a high-performance service team.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with mechanical, controls, electrical systems, testing, and environmental compliance.


Education & Experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Required: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, leadership experience, good communication skills, proficiency with hand and power tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
