POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a full-time, seasoned Production Technician to become an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the advancement of the data center community in Northern Virginia by delivering robust and sustainable solutions.
This role entails overseeing and managing the daily functions of the production team to guarantee effective workflow and timely achievement of production targets. Responsibilities include supervising team members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols, and collaborating with various departments to enhance production efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production Management: Work closely with the Production Manager to organize team personnel and direct daily tasks to meet project timelines. Engage in mechanical and electrical assembly and testing of production items, including filtration and consumption monitoring systems. Operate and maintain machinery and tools, reporting any issues to management.
- Training: Educate new hires on production methodologies and equipment. Ensure that all safety procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to at all times.
- Production Development: Collaborate with the Production Manager to establish production requirements and procedures for new and modified products. Discuss production challenges with management and propose suitable solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and production processes to meet quality standards. Conduct quality checks to ensure products conform to specifications. Work with Production and Engineering teams to maintain quality objectives and corrective actions.
KEY TEAM TASKS
- Oversee the daily production schedule and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor production workflows and make adjustments to resolve any issues.
- Coordinate with supply chain, quality control, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and address production challenges swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and productivity.
KEY COMPETENCIES

- Experience with mechanical, controls, and electrical systems, along with testing and environmental compliance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

- Strong communication skills for effective training and guidance.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance.
