Recruiting Heroes is in search of a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to support our client, a prominent player in the fuel management equipment sector.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a full-time, seasoned Production Technician to become an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the advancement of the data center community in Northern Virginia by providing innovative and sustainable solutions.
This role entails supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the production team to guarantee efficient operations and the achievement of production targets. Responsibilities include managing team members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols, and collaborating with various departments to enhance production efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production Coordination: Work alongside the Production Manager to organize personnel and direct daily tasks to meet project timelines. Engage with the team in the assembly and testing of mechanical and electrical products, including filtration and consumption monitoring systems. Operate and maintain machinery and tools, reporting any issues to management.
- Employee Training: Educate new hires on production methodologies and equipment usage. Ensure that all safety protocols are implemented and adhered to consistently.
- Production Development: Collaborate with the Production Manager to establish production requirements and procedures for new products and modifications. Communicate production challenges and propose suitable solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and production processes to meet quality standards. Conduct quality checks to ensure products comply with specifications. Work with Production and Engineering teams to uphold quality objectives and corrective actions.
KEY TEAM TASKS
- Oversee the daily production schedule to ensure timely task completion.
- Monitor production workflows and make adjustments to resolve issues or bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with supply chain, quality control, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality standards are met.
- Identify and address production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Propose and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and productivity.
KEY COMPETENCIES

- Experience with mechanical, controls, and electrical systems, along with testing and environmental compliance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

- Strong communication skills for effective training and guidance.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain standing for extended periods.
