Haugland Group has an immediate need for a full-time for a full-time Payroll Administrator.

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, highly organized individual to join our payroll department and provide all facets of payroll administration, including the processing of weekly, multi-state in-house payroll for union employees.


This position is located in Melville, NY.


Key Functions

  • Review and process weekly payroll for Union contractor
  • Process time entry which includes checking accuracy of payrolls
  • Input timesheets
  • Address payroll queries from managers and employees


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in payroll (Construction and Union experience preferred)
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment
  • Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations

Compensation range for this role is 65-80k
