Our client, a manufacturing company in Melville, NY is looking for a Bilingual/Spanish speaking Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, safety, payroll, benefits and workers compensation, company policy and procedure adherence.


In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts while supporting line managers
  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and training programs
  • Assist with payroll, benefits administration, workers comp and leave of absence/FMLA
  • Ensures compliance with company safety policies and procedures and legal responsibilities
  • Handle special projects as needed


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • 4+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish a MUST
