Our Power Department, for which this role is supporting, is leading the future of the energy and utility generation industry, focused on combined heat and power, alternative fuels like biogas and hydrogen, fuel cells, and battery storage, among many other cutting-edge technologies.


Some of your responsibilities include the following:


  • Produce drawings and Design of piping systems for heavy industrial projects such as cogeneration power plants, central heating and cooling plants, renewable energy systems and large chillers and boilers
  • Will design equipment skids, selection and designing of pipe supports
  • Coordinate routing of piping, and miscellaneous components with other trades.
  • Support Engineers and Designers by creating and modifying drawings and schematics from markups using AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Assuring that tasks are complete, accurate and in accordance with good engineering practice
  • Review project files for compliance with standards and procedures
  • Work closely on multi-discipline projects, with mechanical, electrical etc.


Essential Skills & Requirements:


  • Associate degree or equivalent from a vocational training program or technical school
  • 10 plus years’ experience desired
  • Revit is a plus
  • Familiarity with large bore piping is essential
  • Experience using BIM360 Cloud Collaboration platform is a plus
  • Knowledge of ASME codes and industry piping standards required
