Director of Data & Analytics


Overview:

Our client, an innovative and rapidly expanding technology firm, is at the forefront of digital transformation. They are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Data Analytics to lead their analytics efforts and shape the future of their data strategy.

You will lead the development and execution of a data strategy that aligns with business goals and promotes data-driven decision-making. This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and deep technical expertise. You’ll guide a talented analytics team, drive innovation, and ensure data effectively supports key initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive data analytics strategy that supports the company’s goals and enhances operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Advanced Analytics: Lead the development and application of advanced analytical models, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools to extract actionable insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, product development, and IT teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Data Governance: Establish and uphold best practices for data management, including data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.


Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; a PhD is advantageous.
  • 8-10 years of experience in data analytics, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, with a proven track record of delivering impactful analytics solutions.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
