Reporting to the VP Accounting, you will be responsible for budgeting, financial planning and analysis, manufacturing cost management, and ERP system implementation.


Your responsibilities will include:


Maintenance of accurate general ledger in accordance with SOX and state/local requirements

Lead team to close monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, including profitability analysis

Develop financial target metrics and assist plant managers to meet business plan, budget, and cost objectives.

Prepare and analyze business plans for product lines

Analyze cost variances, prepare production cost reports, report on labor, headcount, and cost reductions

Analyze semi-annual physical inventory count

Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls, and with appropriate sales tax, use tax, and property tax requirements

Provide leadership in new ERP system implementation


REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters degree preferred. CPA or CMA preferred

8-10 years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge of cost accounting and US GAAP

Strong organizational and data management skills, including experience with company-wide ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or similar.

Automotive experience is preferred.
