As a Senior Salesforce Consultant at ninety10, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand their business objectives and uncover both stated and unstated needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating these needs into actionable technical user stories to be implemented by our delivery team (including at times yourself), and then delivered to the client within the budget and Scope of Work to ensure a successful project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and design to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth and success while adhering to best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their stated requirements, while also utilizing your expertise to uncover unstated needs. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather comprehensive requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Follow best practices for requirement documentation, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability.
  2. Technical Solution Design: Leverage your deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and integration possibilities to architect scalable and robust solutions. Design and document solution architectures that align with business requirements, while considering performance, security, and maintainability. Apply best practices for solution design, such as modularization, reusability, and scalability.
  3. User Story Mapping: Translate business requirements, into well-defined technical user stories that effectively communicate the desired functionality, logic, and data flow. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a clear understanding and successful implementation of the user stories. Employ best practices for user story creation, such as ensuring testability, prioritization, and clear acceptance criteria.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance, thought leadership, and best practices related to Salesforce architecture, development, and deployment. Use your expertise to advise stakeholders on industry best practices, Salesforce platform limitations, and innovative solutions to maximize business value.
  5. Solution Implementation Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are implemented according to best practices, standards, and architectural guidelines. Review and evaluate code quality, perform code reviews, and contribute to troubleshooting and issue resolution. Promote adherence to coding best practices, such as proper error handling, security measures, and efficient data access methods.
  6. Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce platform releases, features, and industry trends. Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to deliver innovative solutions that address both stated and unstated needs, driving customer success. Share best practices with the team and contribute to the development of internal standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience owning Salesforce Solution Designs and Architecture in a customer-facing role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and design patterns.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements, including uncovering unstated needs, and translate them into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Flow, including designing and implementing complex business processes and automation using declarative tools. Ability to leverage Flow's capabilities to deliver efficient and user-friendly solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working with Agile methodologies. Apply best practices for Agile development, such as iterative delivery, continuous integration, and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing customizations, integrations, and data migrations within the Salesforce ecosystem. Follow best practices for Salesforce development, including naming conventions, governor limits, and bulkification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect are highly desirable.
