This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, collaborating with a diverse roster of clients to navigate intricate legal landscapes and ensure successful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and title review for real estate transactions.
  • Provide strategic counsel on zoning, land use, and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including developers, lenders, and governmental agencies.
  • Stay informed about market trends and legal developments impacting the real estate sector.


Experience Required:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the North Carolina Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and purchase agreements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough legal research and analysis.
