Position Description and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct data analysis and define data interpretation and reporting needs
  • Work closely with federal stakeholders to obtain data visualization needs and requirements and then design and develop visualization dashboards using MS PowerBI
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Support team with data modeling, data mining, and data interpretation efforts
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Provide advisory and coaching of data analysis and visualization best practices and trends to project team members and client stakeholders


Required Skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree in analytics, IT, engineering, or related field is Required
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in the federal government space is required
  • Experience with data and data analysis (including refining data in excel, data collection, and data interpretation)
  • Must be proficient in developing dashboards using PowerBI
  • Experience using quantitative, analytical, or statistical techniques to model and visualize data
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques if preferred
  • Must work well independently and as a team
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active Public Trust Clearance
