Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Environmental Analytical Chemist at our laboratory in Berkeley, IL. The Environmental Analytical Chemist will be responsible for conducting various chemical analyses on soil and groundwater samples, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control procedures are followed, and participating in research and development activities.
Qualifications
Experience in working in an environmental laboratory
- Laboratory Skills, Analytical Skills, and Quality Control
- Experience in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment including GC, HPLC, and ICP-MS
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field
