Senior Preconstruction Manager, responsible for conceptual estimating, business development, and design consultation leadership on primarily Manufacturing, Industrial, higher education, and healthcare.




**About the Job**


You will be involved in pursuing new work through collaboration with owners, design consultants, & colleagues on construction projects throughout conception, design & budget development with positive results. You would be responsible for accurate quantity surveys, developing business relationships, romancing subs & vendors, and responding to RFPs. You would also lead and mentor a team of managers.

**Requirements and Skills**


  • Bachelors in Construction Science, Structural or Civil Engineering. Or equivalent technical training and experience combinations.
  • Must have at least ten years of demonstrated experience developing an understanding of the Owner/Architect requirements and providing conceptual budgets to create GMAX proposals with minimum information.
  • Have a polished, professional demeanor with the ability to communicate and present complex issues to management, customers, subcontractors, and other third parties.
  • Comfortable Interacting with project owners, design consultants, subcontractors, & other stakeholders in a Senior leadership role.
  • Experience in subcontractor/supplier bidding strategy and process, evaluation of bids, presentation of detailed estimates, evaluation of alternatives, & comparative studies.
