Responsibilities:
AI Model Development: Develop, test, and maintain robust AI models and software systems with a focus on fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, soundness, and privacy.
Ethical AI Practices: Detect, evaluate, and apply relevant Responsible AI (RAI) dimensions in AI systems, working to mitigate identified risks.
Client Collaboration: Support client sales conversations and proposal preparation, providing expertise in responsible AI practices.
System Optimization: Optimize and maintain existing AI systems for enhanced performance and adherence to ethical standards.
Full AI Lifecycle: Participate in the full AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Guideline Development: Contribute to the development of internal guidelines, best practices for responsible AI development, and technical training.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated with current AI trends, ethical considerations, and technological advancements.
Bias Mitigation: Assist in the identification and correction of biases in datasets and AI models.
Documentation: Document AI development processes and maintain a transparent record of decisions and methodologies used.
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Java. Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Understanding of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and perform data preprocessing and analysis.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical fields or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years for Bachelor’s, 6 years for Associate’s).
Professional Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
Advanced Knowledge: Additional courses or training in responsible AI, ethics in technology, or similar fields. Certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science. Prior experience in projects focused on ethical AI or AI for social good. Knowledge of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks. Experience with AI model interpretability and explainability tools. Specialized visualization techniques (D3.js, ggplot etc.). Project Management Experience. Linguistic proficiency in a language other than English is beneficial.
