POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis is a vital part of the G6 Hospitality leadership team and will own many aspects of enterprise financial planning, forecasting/budgeting, and trend analysis. This position is responsible for leading the FP&A team in efficient financial management processes in support of operational and special project needs. Core responsibilities include accountability for the company long-range plan financial model, lender reporting, and investor communications. A solid understanding of development deal flow and financial concepts is necessary for success in the role. The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will be expected to take initiative, be innovative, function independently, and collaborate with senior leadership on a variety of recurring tasks and ad-hoc activities. G6 Hospitality team members maintain a heart for service by upholding company values of providing respect, demonstrating care, maintaining a winning spirit, and experience fun along the way.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

–      Manage the development process for models and presentation materials intended for our Board of Directors and PE Sponsor

–      Build, evaluate, and communicate scenarios projecting financial performance to internal and external stakeholders

–      Prepare and present findings and recommendations across business units and multiple levels of leadership including department heads, executive committee members, and other stakeholders

–      Drive continuous improvement on processes and tools by championing efforts cross-functionally and within the team

–      Grow and develop direct and indirect reports to facilitate succession planning in and out of the Finance function



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

–      10+ years’ experience with progressive responsibility in strategy, finance, or accounting

–      Results driven with a strong continuous improvement mindset

–      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

–      Advanced proficiency with productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint)

–      Passion to learn new financial systems and business intelligence tools (Oracle, OBIEE/Smart View, Tidemark/Longview, Power BI)

–      Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

–      Desire to improve skillset in oneself and amongst teammates

–      Preferred: MBA / CPA or CPA-eligible / members or candidates in the CFA program
