Job Summary


Rise Health is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its growing team. This is a full-time position based in the Greater Las Vegas or Miami area and reports to the CEO. The Vice President of Finance must exhibit extremely strong quantitative and modeling skills, be self-motivated and be able to adapt to several different roles. As one of a small corporate team, the candidate will have a unique opportunity to build all aspects of the finance department. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to engage with top-level executives, private equity sponsors, and actively contribute to Rise Health’s strategic vision and success. High performers will have the ability to move up quickly within the organization.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, in alignment with our overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team and board of directors, contributing to the company's long-term growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the accounting function and the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage all treasury activities and cash flow, investment strategies, and liquidity, optimizing the use of available resources.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls and strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets.
  • Lead the integration of all aspects of finance and accounting for all acquired practices including historical financial information of comparative reporting.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Team to optimize revenue and accounts receivable processes, ensuring efficient billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.

Special Proficiencies:

  • Excellent computer skills (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focused attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, with a track record of financial strategy development and execution.
  • 2+ years of work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity / Venture Capital, or Management Consulting strongly preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of total work experience.
  • Experience in high growth, entrepreneurial and /or PE backed companies.
  • Experience in value-based healthcare is strongly preferred.
