Job Title: Technical Product Owner

Location: remote/Riverwoods, IL

Job Overview:

As a Technical Product Owner for our open finance hub platform team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of our platform solutions. You will work closely with agile teams to iteratively manage production releases, ensuring alignment with cross functional agile teams and external partners. Your technical expertise and strategic vision will be essential in delivery of open finance hub services/products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with development teams to plan and schedule development and delivery process, while considering interdependencies
  • Identifying, assessing, prioritizing and addressing potential threats and uncertainties that could affect the release process
  • Ensuring each release meets quality standards by developing and enforcing testing protocols, monitoring dashboards and validating release candidates
  • Managing daily team activities using Agile methodologies to ensure delivery on time
  • Creating and managing stories, technical backlog and release documentation
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to manage product releases
  • Tracking and addressing production issues during sprints
  • Supporting and monitoring live production applications
  • Gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints
  • Monitor and ensure platform health and security is maintained. Make recommendations for improvements

Technical Requirements:

  • High level knowledge and awareness of web development frameworks and tools
  • Understands API integrations and microservices architecture
  • Experience with data analysis and metrics-driven decision making
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding technical requirements and knowledge of NFRs (Non-functional requirements)
