Power House Resources, a key player in the global rotating and equipment industry, has been retained by a company with a significant presence in La Porte, Texas, for the following temp-to-perm position.


We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Supervisor to join our Services_AME  team in the United States . Your role will be crucial to our operations and we look forward to welcoming you on board.


 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Supervises and directs Drafting and Reverse Engineering Technicians to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion of assigned projects (including administrative tasks such as time-keeping, vacation requests and scheduling, discipline issues, etc.)
  • Responsible for the continued development and upgrading of procedures and job work instructions applicable to machinery repairs in the interest of quality and efficiency.
  • Assists the Estimating Department and/or the Sales Department to ensure work instructions have adequate verbiage and cost associated with them.
  • Assists the CAD Manager in ensuring the department has adequate tools to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Responsible for training the drafting and reverse-engineering technicians.

 




Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • High school diploma or a technical degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of drafting experience as applicable to turbomachinery repair.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/ CAD-based programs.
  • Strong computer, written, and oral skills.
