SUMMARY:

Provide effective management for all assigned wet utility projects achieving the goals of safety, budget compliance and customer satisfaction while adhering to company standards, processes, and objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the oversight of all phases of construction projects, forecast job cost requirements, estimate change orders to ensure the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear manner.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary.
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Review project proposals and plans to determine staffing requirements, equipment, and allotment of available resources.
  • Complete materials “take-offs”, establishes cost estimates, develops, and tracks material procurement schedule.
  • Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoicing in a timely manner.
  • Review field operations and ensure that the project site is a safe workplace.
  • Prepare project status reports and work to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience in construction project management
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology
  • CPR Certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of integrity

  • Traveling Position
  • Salary: $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
