The specialist will work closely with the IT department and other stakeholders to support the organization’s technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Track asset life cycles, ensuring timely upgrades, replacements, and disposals.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets.

Procurement:

  • Coordinate the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and procurement activities.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost management for IT assets and procurement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT asset management and procurement.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and procurement tools.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing agreements.
