Swagelok, North Carolina | East Tennessee is actively seeking a full-time HR Manager. We are a distributor of Swagelok fluid system components, including Fittings, Valves, PTFE and PFA hoses, Regulators, Tubing, Quick Connects, Measurement Devices, Filters, and Orbital Welding.


The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring, interviewing and onboarding staff, talent development, compensation analysis, benefits, and leave, interpreting company policies and practices, be a culture champion as well as advocate for Associates as well as the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Member of the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.


·        Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

·        Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

·        Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

·        Oversees all processes and tasks relating to benefits and benefit enrollment, including vendor and broker relationships, audits, pricing negotiation, implementation, and documentation

·        Oversees all processes and tasks relating to worker's compensation, including audits, reporting, investigations, and claim administration

·        Oversees HRIS transactions, including payroll updates, collaborating with accounting, deposits of funds for 401K and health savings accounts, vendor management, and lien and support orders

·        Representing the organization with Unemployment claims and hearings, as well as providing documentation to appropriate agencies

·        Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.


·        Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

·        Performs other duties as assigned.

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·        Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.


Education and Experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

·        A minimum of five years of human resource management experience, ten years preferred.

·        PHR or SPHR is highly desired.
