We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer who is a Licensed P.E. and has experience working on large scale central energy plant projects to join our team today.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and preparing engineered contract documentation for assigned projects
  • Working as an Electrical PM to meet deadlines, aiding in/providing engineering decisions, and collaborating with engineers/architects/owners as needed
  • Overseeing multiple projects which may consist of performing and scheduling work, materials, manpower, and information to ensure attainment of scope/project performance and construction schedules
  • Creating mechanical and plumbing project construction documents, plans, specifications, design analyses and cost estimates for robust and reliable electrical system designs
  • Visiting sites as necessary to collect existing condition information, attend meetings, respond to construction inquiries, and report on-site observations
  • Activities may include shop drawing reviews, responding to RFI's, resolving construction difficulties, and coordinating field installations as required for each project to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Help mentor and develop the skills of junior electrical designers and engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related
  • Licensed PE (Texas preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with federal sector-related projects, USACE and GSA-type clients
  • Experience in Trane Trace 700 or related
  • Ability to manage large-scale, design-build central plant projects
