Santa Monica, United States The Many Full time

Since its founding in 2009, The Many has combined technology, creativity and empathy to make stuff consumers actively seek, engage and share.

It has resulted in loads of integrated campaigns and award-winning work for social and digital, long-form and creator content, and activations.

The secret sauce: we harness the power of participation. Because if you look around you’ll notice that brands are no longer built in isolation, they’re built in participation with the many.

At The Many, our Project Managers are process owners for our work streams and account, and are critical members of our client-facing team - so critical that we often refer to them as the “Progress Makers” They are the backbone of the agency, ensuring the agency’s vision comes to life - on time, on budget and as smoothly as possible. As such, with an extreme attention to detail, a self-starting attitude and a collaborative spirit, they are responsible for the delivery and execution of all projects through leading the creation and management of schedules, process, and team integration in order to do so. Our PMs are client facing and more often than not work on integrated pieces of business to deliver excellence across Connections Strategy (the combination of brand, media, social, creative and analytics strategy), creative development, 360 production and media planning, through to delivery of all outputs. Sr. Project Managers deliver excellence by overseeing the integrated process across multiple projects and accounts. Possessing extreme attention to detail and excellent communication skills, the Sr. Project Manager is comfortable taking the lead with clients and will not only proactively flag the impact of shifting deliverables or timelines but will provide proactive, creative solutions to keep projects on track. The Sr. Project Manager sets the pace of our accounts and projects, leading the path to a seamless delivery for both the internal team and for the client.

What this role is responsible for:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day client and internal communications in partnership with the Brand team, taking the lead more specifically across timelines, delivery specs and distilling next steps and feedback
  • Develop, maintain, and execute integrated project plans including defining project schedules, objectives at each stage of the project, and deliverables to meet client needs
  • Oversee and manage client and internal status and timeline documents and lead corresponding meetings to keep full internal and client teams on task and on schedule
  • Proactively identify potential barriers to project success and develop strategic recommendations for the team and client to drive the project to completion
  • Provide ongoing delivery thought leadership including clearly articulating our internal project teams’ challenges and leading the internal teams in solving for them
  • Ongoing optimization of processes throughout the agency both at the project level and account level
  • Maintaining the day-to-day internal pulse on how team’s are tracking outside of key all-team milestones to get ahead of any potential roadblocks or shifts needed
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and help lead cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to client expectations
  • Work closely with Brand, Finance, and Resource Management teams to accurately forecast and evaluate resource needs throughout the duration of projects
  • Ownership over shifts in timeline, deliverables, and process that impact the agency’s scope commitments, working closely with Resource Management, Finance, and Brand to flag early risks or concerns with delivery of work
  • Shared responsibility with Brand team over tracking to client scopes and budgets

What we need from you:

  • 8+ years experience in project management within a fully integrated and/or creative agency
  • Varied project and account experience within a fully integrated creative agency such as working on campaigns from strategy through execution, video productions, influencer marketing, social-first accounts, experiential projects, etc
  • Have a detailed understanding of strategy development and the creative process along with how it affects timelines, production, etc
  • Experience leading fully integrated teams and serving as the bridge between strategy, creative, and media counterparts
  • Process-driven, highly-organized and methodical with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, execute tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment with multiple resources
  • Proven ability and enthusiasm to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines in a high-pressure environment
  • A proactive, “get stuff done” attitude with a sense of urgency to drive projects forward while maintaining quality output and a seamless, inclusive process
  • Experience writing partnership proposals and scope of works
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment effectively
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Open to working in-office three days a week

Other things we’d like to see:

  • Experience working on new business pitches and with new clients
  • Experience with Google Suite and Slack

Our salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 to $115,000 annually. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package (i.e. benefits, retirement plan employer match, etc.).
