Change Management Administrator


Shared Technology Services Group is a dynamic group that defines, develops, and implements application and infrastructure systems to the Plymouth Rock Group of companies.


The Change Management Administrator works with the administration systems that track the planning, management, and coordination of our software and hardware releases. In this role, you will work closely with the development and infrastructure teams to ensure that we safely deploy critical software to the Plymouth Rock Companies (PRC) Application Suite and to networks enterprise wide. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, self-motivated, highly productive administrator who can handle multiple assignments at any given time. This is a fast-paced environment, and a successful candidate must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on release-related tasks.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage application and infrastructure production releases.
  • Drive the release process within the teams, and work with other change management administrators to drive best practices for releases across the company.
  • Communicate effectively with Development, Enterprise Services, Operations, and Production Control on schedules and priorities of releases.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Manage and maintain the custom STG change management toolsets.
  • Some nights and weekends required.


Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of professional experience.
  • International Society of Configuration Management (ISCM) certifications desired.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in release engineering or broad experience with the software development lifecycle.
  • Minimum 2 years of working with software configuration management and version control systems.
  • Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Passion to understand, learning, and dissect new technologies quickly on your own.
  • Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with EasyVista Service Manager a plus.
