This is role is for the leader in the innovative HVAC solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors.


We are looking for a senior Program Manager whose manage large scale programs at the enterprise level. The ideal candidate will be overseeing an enterprise portfolio orchestrating across all other work streams. You'll be responsible for the entire program schedule, program budget, program reporting, risk matrix and issue mitigation, and ensuring that all programs aligned to the Value Management Office. You'll be required to provide thorough readouts with executive leadership team - so public speaking confidently and articulately will be key attributes in this role. Moreover, this role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of managing multiple complex programs.


Any HVAC industry experience will be a huge plus but not required.


Responsibilities:

1) Project Planning and Execution: • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements to successfully deliver the project business case. • Oversee the execution of product development projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

2) Team Leadership: • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, in partnership with the Director of Engineering, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development.

3) Stakeholder Management: • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, product managers, operations, and vendors. • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

4) Risk Management: • Proactively identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes while eliminating barriers for the project team. • Implement effective risk monitoring and control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

5) Resource Allocation: • Optimize resource utilization, ensuring the availability of necessary skills and expertise for project success. • Collaborate with resource managers to address staffing needs and challenges.

6) Quality Assurance: • Implement quality assurance processes to meet industry standards and customer expectations. • Conduct regular project reviews and inspections to ensure product compliance and performance.


Must haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.

• Proven experience (8+ years) in program management, with firsthand experience following a formal product development (i.e. “gate review”) process.

• Strong technical background with a deep understanding software development and product development processes.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Team player (humble, hungry, and smart) with history of effective collaboration within a cross-functional product team.

• Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
