Currently Scout HR, Inc has a great opportunity for a Head of Quality in Russellville, AR. We are seeking individuals with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality management.

  • Pay: Up to $115,000/year; based on experience
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Fully Onsite


Job Summary:

The position directs quality assurance and quality service functions of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

  • Responsible for directing the Quality Assurance Department personnel, functions, and activities.
  • Fostering an environment of Continuous Improvement in the workplace across departmental lines throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all related IATF, ISO, and ISMS policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) programs to ensure processes are fully deployed and people are trained in the process.
  • Responsible for setting and measuring the departmental goals that support the business plan.
  • Coordinate, train and assist in audits and inspections of operational and supplier programs and processes.
  • Maintain and control the Quality Management Systems (QMS) for continued conformance to customer standards.
  • Improve plant capability utilizing statistical methods (QDAS, Minitab or equivalent tools).
  • Work with customers to develop improvement strategies for quality and cost.
  • Fulfill the role of Management Representative for the Quality Management Systems.

What we need from you:

  • Successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Engineering from four-year college or university and 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing quality management.
  • Preferred experience in the automotive industry, experience with FMEA, APQP, PDP, Gantt Chart, QDAS / Minitab (SPC software), MS Project and project management skills.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Metallurgy and Materials Science experience is helpful.
