About the Role:
Scout HR Services is excited to present an opportunity for a Head of Quality Assurance. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector.
- Compensation: Up to $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Work Environment: Fully Onsite

The selected individual will oversee the quality assurance and service functions of the organization, which includes:

- Direct the activities and personnel of the Quality Assurance Department.
- Encourage a culture of Continuous Improvement across various departments within the organization.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant IATF, ISO, and ISMS policies and procedures.
- Maintain the Quality Management Systems (QMS) programs to guarantee that processes are effectively implemented and that personnel are adequately trained.
- Establish and assess departmental objectives that align with the overall business strategy.
- Coordinate, train, and support audits and inspections of operational and supplier programs and processes.
- Manage and uphold the Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance with customer standards.
- Enhance plant capabilities through the application of statistical methods (QDAS, Minitab, or similar tools).
- Collaborate with customers to devise strategies for quality and cost improvements.
- Act as the Management Representative for the Quality Management Systems.
Qualifications:
- A successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution and possess 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality management.
- Experience in the automotive sector is preferred, along with familiarity with FMEA, APQP, PDP, Gantt Chart, QDAS/Minitab (SPC software), MS Project, and project management skills.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge in Metallurgy and Materials Science is beneficial.
