Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will oversee various accounting functions across multiple regions and disciplines. This role is responsible for the preparation of operational reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as managing payroll, inventory controls, capital expenditures, and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports on a regular basis.
  • Provide accurate and timely analysis to the leadership team.
  • Review payroll reports and assist in the month-end closing process.
  • Develop the annual expense budget for the location.
  • Organize routine asset audits and manage capital spending processes.
  • Enhance existing systems and processes for efficiency.
  • Participate in discussions to provide solutions to identified issues.
  • Support the development of team members in their career paths.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and management accounting.
  • Experience with SAP and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively.

Preferred:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Background in manufacturing or live production.
  • Experience in cost accounting.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with temperature variations based on location.
  • General exposure to agricultural production elements.
  • Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
