Warehouse Manager

Location: Temple, Texas

Reports To: General Manager


We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management of the warehouse operations in Temple, Texas. The position will be responsible for the management of the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Your Mission/Job Functions

•Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service for spare parts.

•Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle for more than 2000 SKUs relating to spare parts.

•Work closely with EOS North America Purchasing department to ensure optimum stock levels and acceptable order fulfillment to our order processing team and field service engineers servicing our systems at customer locations as well as direct customer orders for consumables.

•Ensure inventory is accurate and always organized by maintaining inventory levels, supervising physical counts and updating adjustments according to established policies.

•Ensure all records and reports regarding warehouse activity are prepared on a timely basis.

•Supervise and provide staff direction, schedule warehouse employees and maintain structure to meet department and company goals in an efficient manner.

•Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

•Achieve financial objectives by managing an operating expense budget and with associated staffing levels.


Skills/Qualifications

•Proven understanding of lean manufacturing concepts with the ability to lead 5S and kaizen efforts for continuous improvement. Implementation experience a strong plus.

•Strong understanding of material flow, lean concepts, pull systems, cost savings initiatives and visual warehouse techniques.

•Proficient in standard ERP and logistics software. SAP knowledge a strong plus.

• Logistics, transportation and freight experience strongly preferred.

•Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills demonstrated across multiple functions and locations.

•Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff, including personnel development.

•Demonstrated excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned independent thought.

•Understanding of racking, material handling, and space optimization.

•Possess knowledge on import/export compliance and regulations.

•Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

•Develop and deploy key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and implement improvements.

•Comply with federal, state and local laws, regulations, OSHA standards and ISO standards, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.

•Communicate effectively to employees their responsibility for safety, following safety rules, and reporting unsafe working conditions to their supervisor.
