Content Associate

Join Lights.com as Content Creation Associate where you'll play a key role in creating digital content and 3D lifestyle imagery for our brand.
We are looking for a talented creative who understands lifestyle interior photography, has a keen aesthetic eye, and can communicate creative feedback — someone who can use their vision to help create on-brand imagery that will allow our customers to visualize our products in their own homes. Candidate will be responsible for working with a small group of 3D renderers who produce lifestyle imagery (‘Room Environments’) for our products, and help develop new creative strategies for brand engagement using our visuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Creative Manager, Product Designers, and contracted 3D Renderers to produce high-quality, brand-aligned 3D lifestyle imagery.
- Following direction from the Creative Manager, assign, review, and proof 3D lifestyle imagery projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Give clear, constructive feedback to 3D Renders, to produce high-quality, photo-realistic visual assets.
- Maintain a superb eye for style, visual composition and attention to detail.
- Understand cross-functional needs and uses of our visual assets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager for impactful social media content.
- Help develop new creative strategies for enhanced brand engagement on social media.
- Help write fresh and informative content for our blog and/or develop new ideas for blog content.
- Review our digital catalog regularly to ensure image consistency and quality.
- Maintain cohesive branding across all digital platforms.
Qualifications:
- Experience in digital photography, interior styling, graphic design, or a related field.
- Strong aesthetic judgment and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A strong collaborator, able to work with other creatives, and understand and implement creative feedback.
- Strong interest in interior design, architecture, and/or home decor.
- Understanding of basic photographic principles (composition, depth of field, lighting, color theory).
- Experience working with external/remote contractors.
- Technically Proficient in social media, basic image editing, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
Additional Experience a Plus:
- Technical Experience with Photoshop, Sketch Up, CAD, InDesign a plus
- Degree (completed or in progress) in Art, Graphic Design, Interior Design, a plus
- Experience using Upwork or Behance
- Experience organizing digital assets using DAM platforms
