POSITION SUMMARY

This position will have responsibility for Managing the Business Intelligence department. This department assists sales, marketing, legal, customer service and other department leadership in driving operational excellence at a fast-growing international network marketing company. This individual will report to the Global Snr. Director of Sales Operations and work with the leadership team to provide critical business insight that guides decision making processes across the company with statistical trends, evidence of market trends, and facilitation of a shared understanding of sales behaviors and health metrics for . This position will also form processes and work instructions specific to the implementation and usage of data/reporting. This role is a high value-add business partner to the organization, enabling revenue growth, increasing sales productivity by facilitating effective methodologies, efficient processes, and value-added information and aids in monitoring the health of the company. The role will be required to assess various types results and provide recommendations to leadership on issues or areas that need to be improved or streamlined.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide reporting on sales and operational metrics
  • Accomplished by using Excel, SQL, or Tableau
  • Deliver regular insights to the business to improve performance.
  • Performs specialized data analysis related to sales trends and metrics.
  • Correlate data regarding sales policies and programs.
  • Synthesize global and regional trends/sales behaviors with open-source industry relevant data to advise various department actions.
  • Provide reporting to promotion team on impact and success rate of promotions.
  • Coordinate Sales data needs, reporting functionality, and assist in developing company analytics capabilities and procedures with internal partners.
  • Provides on-call direct support to director and above Sales staff during internal and external events.
  • Facilitates simplification and replication of recurring data-based sales tasks.
  • Monitor and manage the proof all products generated by the business intelligence analytics team.
  • Establish, maintain, and refine standards for statistic reporting.
  • Document and standardize processes surrounding data reporting, formation, and requesting of data.
  • Use the processes of six sigma to document and improve inner departmental processes.
  • Assist in defining, monitoring, and reporting team KPIs.
  • Oversee the day to day operations of the business intelligence team.
  • Set priorities
  • Build out development plans
  • Identify areas for improvement


Other

  • Completes all company training and follows established policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree in related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data mining, reporting, and analysis.
  • SQL Knowledge and understanding
  • Six Sigma knowledge (Green belt or higher preferred)
  • Tableau usage, development, and administration knowledge
  • Excel proficiency
  • Smartsheet knowledge preferred
  • Experience in a network marketing organization preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Attention to detail and complex information required.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work with various personalities and cultures required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
  • Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
