Position Title: Project Manager/Estimator

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimators Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing quote request documents, preparing accurate and competitive quotes, and effectively communicating with customers. This role also involves coordinating projects from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and Analyze Quote Requests:
  • Examine quote request documents, drawings, and specifications to understand customer requirements.
  • Identify key elements and potential cost factors within the quote request.
  • Request quotes from vendors for purchased items.
  • Prepare and Submit Quotes:
  • Utilize NetSuite’s quoting configurator to prepare quotes.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate quotes that are complete.
  • Submit quotes within the specified timelines.
  • Customer Communication:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide updates on the status of quotes and projects.
  • Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Coordinate projects from acceptance through to completion, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
  • Work closely with the drafting, production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate any changes or delays to the customer.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, customer communications, and project details.
  • Update and manage customer information in the company database.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the quoting process.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, pricing, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an estimating, inside sales, or similar role.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM and quoting software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
