Position Title: Business Operations Analyst

Location: Memphis, TN - Hybrid, 3 days a week on-site.

Duration: 6-Month Contract with extensions.

Pay Rate: $35-45/Hour


Job Summary: Our client is looking for a local candidate to fill a hybrid Business Operations Analyst contract role in Memphis. The ideal candidate will have a robust set of skills across several key areas to effectively support various business operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Data Analysis: Proficient in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Project Management: Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, with experience in tracking project progress and driving tasks to completion.
  • IT Knowledge: Familiar with IT operations, systems, and infrastructure, and understands key IT performance metrics.
  • Reporting: Capable of creating comprehensive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and PowerBI.

Analytical Skills:

  • Critical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills, able to analyze complex data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data analysis and report generation, with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
  • Business Acumen: Understands key business metrics and their relation to IT performance, and can align IT activities with business objectives and goals.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business operations analysis, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within an IT environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with IT Management software and tools
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills to create impactful and meaningful product deliverables
  • Understanding of key business metrics and how they relate to IT performance.
  • Proficiency in report generation tools and techniques (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI)
