Qualifications:

  • 2-year Associates Degree in relevant engineering field OR CAD/CAM experience of at least 2 years
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented and deadline focused
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal


What you'll be asked to do:

  • Lead all operators tasked with designing titanium dental frameworks required to support a variety of Cagenix products.
  • Design titanium alloy dental frameworks of the highest quality/standard with little to no consultation or review
  • Primary problem-solver for situations that are outside the normal design parameters, while still providing quality restorations for customers/patients. This includes, but is not limited to, extreme analog positioning, limited space, etc.
  • For the problematic cases, they are responsible for finding/designing the best restoration for the customer/patient. Especially if the best restoration is not what is on the order form. The person is also responsible for direct communication with the customer about these design alternatives.
  • Ensure proper training is done for new hires, as well as continual training for all members of the Dental Framework Design Team. This includes managing new design features/requests from colleagues throughout the physical and digital aspects.
  • Investigate areas where procedure streamlining is possible, through journals/scripts, updating design templates, or looking into other CAD-related software, and ensure appropriate testing is being done and documented before final implementation.
  • Responsible for reverse-engineering copings/connections/scan-bodies accurately
  • Must be approachable to colleagues having Dental Framework Design Team related issues and be able to answer their questions or know the right direction to find the best answer.
  • Assist in coordinating projects with colleagues.
