Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and outgoing Event and Tent Rental Sales Specialist to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves generating leads, building relationships with clients, and promoting A1 Party & Tent Rentals’ wide range of event solutions throughout the Tri-State area, particularly in Manhattan and the five boroughs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, experienced, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. 


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage your own book of business through networking and outreach. 

- Build strong relationships with event planners, venues, and corporate clients. 

- Follow through on client needs and stay on top of orders to ensure flawless execution. 

- Promote and sell A1’s wide range of event rental services, with a focus on tent rentals. 

- Meet with clients as needed (typically 1-2 in-person meetings per week), with most interactions conducted over the phone or via email. 


Qualifications:

- Proven sales experience, preferably in the event industry. 

- Strong knowledge of the Tri-State area, particularly Manhattan and the five boroughs. 

- Exceptional professionalism, communication, and customer-friendly attitude. 

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients. 

- Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot and office software (e.g., MS Office). 

- Must live within a 1-hour commute of our Brooklyn office. 


Schedule:

- Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM 

- Friday: 9 AM to 4 PM 

- Saturday and Sunday: Off 

- Remote work flexibility for one day per month (based on performance). 

- Travel required for weekly client meetings (compensated). 


Compensation and Benefits:

- Base salary (minimum wage) plus commission up to 12% 

- 401(k) with company matching 

- Paid Time Off (PTO)
