Role Overview:

The Vice President of Commercial Excellence will drive initiatives related to continuous improvement and transformation within the organization. This role will focus on implementing best practices to maximize profitable revenue and growth, improve sales team effectiveness, and optimize commercial strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Program Leadership:

- Lead the Commercial Continuous Improvement program.

- Build and manage the Commercial Excellence team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to align strategies and initiatives.


2. Commercial Strategy Development:

- Create and implement strategies to drive profitable growth.

- Ensure consistency in commercial operations and policies.


3. Sales Team Effectiveness:

- Enhance the salesforce's effectiveness through training and best practices.


4. Strategic Pricing:

- Develop pricing models aligned with market conditions and company goals.

- Monitor market trends to make data-driven pricing adjustments.


5. Product/Service Optimization:

- Optimize offerings to meet market demands and enhance revenue opportunities.


6. Customer Focus:

- Refine customer segmentation and improve satisfaction and retention strategies.


7. Contract Management:

- Oversee commercial contracts ensuring favorable terms and compliance.


8. Inside Sales:

- Enhance the performance of the inside sales team.


9. Sales Controlling/Revenue Assurance:

- Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to prevent revenue loss.


10. Digital Enablement:

- Lead the integration of digital tools to enhance commercial processes.


11. Market Analysis:

- Conduct competitive landscape analysis to inform strategic decisions.


12. Leadership Team Participation:

- Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic initiatives for the Americas region.


Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Experience: 10+ years in commercial roles with a proven track record in strategy and transformation.

- Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities; proficiency in data analysis.
