Position Summary:

The Knowledge Management Coordinator is a member of the Engineering Operational Excellence & Business Operations team. In this role you will support the development of training plans, set up of training classes, record training data, status budget and assist with uploading documents to Knowledge Management System. The role will also have responsibilities in proposal support & capital planning. You will coordinate & follow up on Engineering inputs for new business proposals and be a backup person for compiling capital project data.


Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:

  • Interface with Engineering leaders on training needs & setting up training for employees
  • Coordinate with suppliers that provide training courses
  • Organize delivery of the training (e.g. rooms, equipment, security requirements, attendee communication, etc)
  • Maintain training data (e.g. attendee lists, course feedback, training cost, training plan, etc)
  • Support upload of knowledge artifacts into Microsoft SharePoint Knowledge Management System
  • Provide monthly status reports for training budget and training courses completed
  • Coordinate engineer access to proposal management tool
  • Support the Engineering Proposal Lead by extracting status reports & follow up on proposal input and approval
  • Status capital project approvals & budget and compile capital project planning data


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in excel
  • Excellent organizational, written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work multiple requirements concurrently


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Microsoft SharePoint experience
  • Experience coordinating training
  • Experience with providing budget status
  • Familiarity with Engineering processes
