We are seeking an exceptional Pattern Engineer 3 to join our creative team within Apparel. This role requires expertise in construction, fit standards, textiles, trims, and graphics, along with a passion for delivering innovative solutions that serve our athletes and consumers. The ideal candidate is a versatile, forward-thinking problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence in apparel technical design.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned styles collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver creative solutions and execution.
  • Develop and update Tech Packs, including measurements, construction sketches, and graphic placements, for Product Creation Centers (PCCs) and factory partners.
  • Lead proto review sessions, write detailed comments, and track prototypes to meet calendar target dates.
  • Create digital prototypes and ensure all styles progress seamlessly through the creation process to meet on-time production capability.
  • Attend and actively contribute to meetings related to product development, communicating progress and addressing challenges effectively.

  • Materials, Color, and Product Integrity teams


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in pattern making and apparel development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the apparel development process from inception to production, including construction, costing, manufacturing, print techniques, embroidery, materials, and machinery.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting Tech Packs with advanced construction instructions and providing alternative solutions aligned with design intent.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD Pattern Design software. Experience with Optitex, Browzwear, VStitcher, Lotta, or CLO preferred.


Must Have Skills:

5+ years of experience in apparel technical design, specifically in cut & sew, knits, woven sportswear, and outerwear.

Demonstrated ability to organize and lead fit sessions.

In-depth knowledge of apparel technical design and pattern making.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 3D tools like Optitex or Clo 3D.

Expertise in Tech Pack creation.

What We Are Not Looking For:

Graphic designers or product designers without specific apparel experience.
