Company Overview

We are a multi-disciplinary Engineering company, offering consulting and design services across the region. Our team has been around for nearly 50 years, planning, designing, administering across both the public and private sectors. We continue to grow and are looking to add a Controls Engineer to the mixture.

Position Overview

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for industrial equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our control systems meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that control systems meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain control systems to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to continuously improve control systems and processes.
  • Provide technical support to other teams and departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA and other control systems.
  • Must have Allen Bradley experience and AutoCAD experience
  • Nice to Haves;
  • VT Scada, FactoryTalk, Inductive Automation Ignition, RSL, Studio 5000, AutoCAD Electrical
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
