The Pricing Analyst will help develop pricing structures and alternative fee proposals, contributing to the firm's overall pricing strategy. Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Pricing, this position will provide analytics, reporting, and tools to support the firm's pricing vision, working closely with partners, clients, and other departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with attorneys and management to refine pricing strategies, conduct market research, and analyze competition.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze billing data, client financials, and market trends; create pricing models and forecasts; prepare detailed reports.
  • Client Proposals and Fee Arrangements: Assist in developing client proposals, including various fee arrangements, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with client expectations.
  • Financial Modeling: Create financial models to project revenue impacts; monitor pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with finance, billing, and practice leaders to align pricing with financial goals; provide training on pricing strategies.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure pricing complies with regulations and internal policies; stay current with industry best practices.


Proficiencies:

  • Advanced financial analysis and data management skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of legal services and financial systems
  • Ability to work independently and within teams


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services
  • 3+ years of experience with legal pricing, including non-hourly models
