Product Information Management Assistant

Position Summary: The PIM Manager Assistant will support the PIM Manager in maintaining and optimizing the Product Information Management system. This role involves assisting in the accurate and timely collection, organization, and dissemination of product data across various platforms. The PIM Manager Assistant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability to meet business needs and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

  • Assist in the collection, validation, and input of product data into the PIM system.
  • Ensure all product information is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
  • Conduct regular audits of product data to maintain data quality and integrity.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of product data standards and guidelines.

System Support:

  • Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of the PIM system.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving PIM-related issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and other teams to gather and verify product information.
  • Support the synchronization of product data across various systems and platforms.
  • Assist in the coordination of product launches and updates to ensure timely and accurate data distribution.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve PIM processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in PIM training sessions for internal teams to ensure adherence to best practices.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate reports and analytics on product data as required.
  • Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product data management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in data management, product information management, or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using PIM systems and related software tools. Knowledge of data management principles and best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing product data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific PIM systems. Salsify experience is a significant plus.
  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing.
  • Strong Excel skills required.

Working Conditions:

  • This is an office-based position.
  • May require occasional travel to other company locations or industry events.
