We are a leading cardiovascular practice with 6 locations and 21 providers across South Atlanta. We provide high-quality cardiac care and innovative treatments. This role is critical in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, and enhancing the quality of patient care. The COO will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other senior leaders to align operational strategies with the practice's overall goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define the strategic direction and operational goals of the practice with detailed SOPs and processes.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and business plans that align with the overall mission and vision of the practice.
  • Identify and address operational challenges, implementing solutions to drive continuous improvement.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including patient services, clinical workflows, and administrative functions.
  • Ensure the efficient utilization of resources, including staffing, equipment, and facilities.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of patient care and operational efficiency through the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop and manage the practice's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee financial reporting, performance metrics, and variance analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiencies.

Patient and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Enhance patient satisfaction through effective service delivery, addressing patient concerns, and implementing feedback-driven improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical staff, patients, insurance providers, and community partners.
  • Represent the practice in external forums and industry events, promoting its reputation and strategic interests.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Oversee the implementation and management of healthcare technologies, including electronic health records (EHR) and telemedicine platforms.
  • Evaluate and integrate innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and patient care.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare management, with a proven track record in a senior operational role within a cardiology or similar medical specialty.
